The start of the next remaining periods, the South Bay Lakers were radiating determination to take the lead over the Grand Rapids Gold. Tevian Jones (#5) was dominating the court and showing the Gold what the Lakers were capable of and why they hold their spot in the playoffs.
The defending was blazing as Dane Goodwin (#23) & Javante McCoy (#13) attempted to halt the Lakers’ momentum. While some plays were successful, the Lakers and Gold kept the scoreboard head to head.
The Grand Rapids Gold trailed right behind the Lakers, going back and forth with the lead during the 3rd quarter. At the end of the 3rd, South Bay Lakers ultimately took the lead (91-89) with fans roaring with anticipation and looking forward to what the performance is going to bring in the 4th.
