INGLEWOOD, Calif. — The LA Clippers continue to search for answers after falling 114–110 to the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night at the Intuit Dome, marking their fourth straight loss in a frustrating November stretch.
Despite a near triple-double from James Harden, who delivered 29 points, 11 assists, and 8 rebounds, the Clippers couldn’t overcome key late-game buckets from Dallas’ rising star Cooper Flagg. The rookie phenom delivered the best performance of his young NBA career, exploding for a career-high 35 points, showcasing poise, athleticism, and confidence beyond his years.
The Clippers opened the night with strong energy, moving the ball efficiently and getting solid contributions from their supporting cast. Harden dictated the pace, orchestrating the offense and keeping LA within striking distance throughout the matchup. But every time the Clippers built momentum, Flagg answered with tough shot-making—midrange pull-ups, transition attacks, and clutch threes.
In the fourth quarter, the Clippers made one last push, cutting the deficit to a single possession in the final minute, but Dallas executed down the stretch while LA couldn’t convert on crucial offensive opportunities.
The loss drops the Clippers to a difficult point in the season as they face their fourth consecutive defeat, prompting urgency to regroup and regain rhythm before the schedule intensifies.
The Mavericks, powered by Flagg’s breakout performance, continue to solidify themselves as a dangerous young contender in the West.
