The long-awaited professional debut of Jimuel Pacquiao, son of boxing icon Manny Pacquiao, headlined an electrifying night of boxing on November 29, 2025, at the Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, California. The event marked not only Jimuel’s first official appearance as a pro fighter but also a historic moment for Manny Pacquiao Promotions, which hosted its first full professional fight card in the United States.
Fight Breakdown: A Tough, Even Contest
The bout unfolded at a measured pace, with cautious exchanges early as both fighters settled into their rhythm. Jimuel showcased good hand speed and flashes of the trademark Pacquiao aggression, but at times struggled to find consistency against Lally’s pressure and counterpunching.
After four rounds, all eyes turned to the judges’ scorecards:
39–37 Pacquiao
38–38
38–38
The result: a majority draw. While some observers felt Jimuel had edged out the victory, others noted that his performance lacked the sharpness and confidence expected from someone carrying such a storied name.
A Successful Night for Manny Pacquiao Promotions
The crowd’s energy remained high throughout the night, though reactions to the decision were mixed. Ringside analysts described Jimuel’s performance as “solid but tentative,” noting that he showed promise but didn’t seize control of the fight as many hoped.
Even Manny Pacquiao, who was present ringside, acknowledged that his son still has “a lot to improve” but praised his composure in a high-pressure moment.
Despite the draw, Jimuel’s debut is widely seen as a starting point, not a setback. With more experience, better pacing, and continued conditioning, experts believe he has the tools to develop into a legitimate professional contender.
The event featured a diverse lineup of undercard bouts across multiple divisions, delivering action, knockouts, and crowd-pleasing performances. For Manny Pacquiao Promotions, the night was an operational and promotional success, signaling the beginning of a new chapter for the Pacquiao boxing legacy — this time not inside the ring, but from the promoter’s seat.
