LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — On a cloudy, cold evening at Segra Field on May 2nd, 2026, the energy never dipped for a second. From kickoff to the final whistle, the crowd was alive—loud, engaged, and fully behind Loudoun United FC in a match that delivered intensity, quality, and late heartbreak in a 2–2 draw against Oakland Roots SC.
Loudoun came out in a 3-4-3 with clear attacking intent, while Oakland’s 4-4-2 stayed disciplined and calculated. It wasn’t just two teams playing—it was two game plans colliding.
