The Los Angeles Clippers delivered an offensive showcase Wednesday night, defeating the Minnesota Timberwolves 153–128 at Intuit Dome on March 11. The Clippers’ offense was firing on all cylinders, pushing the tempo and capitalizing on transition opportunities. Ball movement and spacing created consistent open looks throughout the night, helping Los Angeles surpass the 150-point mark in one of their most explosive offensive outings of the season
Despite the loss, the Timberwolves were led by star guard Anthony Edwards, who poured in 36 points. Edwards kept Minnesota competitive early with aggressive drives and timely three-point shooting, but the Clippers’ offensive surge proved too much to overcome.
Los Angeles steadily extended its lead as the game progressed, using strong second-half scoring runs to create separation. Leonard’s scoring outburst highlighted the night, as he repeatedly delivered clutch baskets whenever Minnesota attempted to close the gap.
The win provides momentum for the Clippers as they prepare for their next matchup. Los Angeles will return to action on March 13, when they host the Chicago Bulls.
With the postseason approaching, performances like Leonard’s Wednesday night display the kind of offensive firepower the Clippers hope to carry into the stretch run.
