The LA Clippers delivered one of their most complete performances of the season on Saturday night, dismantling the Brooklyn Nets 126–89 at Intuit Dome. From the opening tip, the Clippers controlled the pace, overwhelmed Brooklyn on both ends of the floor, and never allowed the game to slip into doubt.
Los Angeles set the tone early with a dominant first quarter, outscoring the Nets 38–14. The Clippers’ defensive pressure forced difficult shots and turnovers, while their offense moved the ball efficiently and capitalized in transition. By halftime, the lead had already ballooned beyond 30 points, effectively deciding the contest.
Kawhi Leonard led the way with a polished and efficient night, finishing with 28 points on 9-of-17 shooting, adding five rebounds and steady two-way impact in just 25 minutes. James Harden orchestrated the offense masterfully, posting 19 points, 8 assists, and 6 rebounds, while consistently getting to the free-throw line. John Collins added 18 points and strong interior play, and Ivica Zubac anchored the paint with 11 points and 10 rebounds, helping the Clippers win the rebounding battle convincingly.
The Clippers’ depth was on full display as well. The bench poured in quality minutes and extended the lead throughout the second half. Jordan Miller provided a spark with 16 points, while Kobe Sanders chipped in 9 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists in extended run. Overall, Los Angeles shot 56% from the field, 48% from three, and 90% from the free-throw line, a level of efficiency that Brooklyn simply could not match.
Brooklyn struggled offensively all night, shooting just 34% overall and 21% from beyond the arc. Danny Wolf led the Nets with 14 points and 7 rebounds, while Egor Demin added 12 points, but no Net was able to find a consistent rhythm against the Clippers’ defense. The Nets committed 16 turnovers, many of which turned directly into Clippers points.
The Clippers outscored Brooklyn in every quarter and closed the night with a 37-point victory, one of their most lopsided wins of the season. With the win, Los Angeles continues to build momentum at home inside Intuit Dome, showcasing a blend of star power, depth, and defensive intensity that could prove critical as the season progresses.
