The United States Women’s National Team delivered a commanding performance, overwhelming Paraguay 6–0 in an international friendly that showcased the depth, pace, and attacking firepower of the American squad.
The USWNT controlled the tempo from the opening whistle, applying constant pressure and limiting Paraguay’s opportunities in all areas of the pitch. The breakthrough came just before halftime when R. Turner found the back of the net in stoppage time (45+3’), giving the United States a deserved 1–0 lead heading into the break.
The second half quickly turned into a showcase for the USWNT attack. A. Sentnor doubled the lead just two minutes after the restart (47’), and the pressure continued to mount. Paraguay struggled to clear their lines, resulting in an own goal by F. Martinez in the 53rd minute, extending the lead to 3–0.
Moments later, T. Rodman added her name to the scoresheet in the 56th minute, finishing off a fluid attacking move. Sentnor struck again shortly after, netting her second goal of the match in the 57th minute to make it 5–0 and cap off an impressive individual performance.
The scoring was completed in the 72nd minute when E. Sears calmly converted, sealing a dominant 6–0 victory for the United States.
The match served as a strong statement from the USWNT, highlighting their attacking versatility, squad depth, and defensive solidity as they continue building momentum in international competition.
