INGLEWOOD, Calif. – The Los Angeles Clippers dropped their fifth consecutive game on Saturday night, falling 105-102 to the Atlanta Hawks at Intuit Dome. Despite being without key stars Kawhi Leonard and Bradley Beal, the Clippers fought hard behind a spectacular performance from veteran guard James Harden, who nearly carried the team to victory with a triple-double effort — 35 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds.
Harden’s leadership kept the Clippers competitive throughout, pushing the pace and creating opportunities on both ends of the court. However, the absence of offensive depth became evident late in the fourth quarter as the Hawks closed the game with timely three-pointers and strong bench contributions.
Atlanta’s Kristaps Porziņģis led the starting lineup with 20 points, but it was Vit Krejci who stole the spotlight, exploding for 28 points off the bench. His energy and shot-making made the difference down the stretch, helping the Hawks escape Inglewood with a hard-fought road win.
The Clippers’ struggles continue as they search for consistency amid injuries and lineup changes. Their record now drops further below .500, and with pressure mounting, the team will need to regroup quickly before their next matchup to avoid falling deeper into the Western Conference standings.
