LOS ANGELES — Banana Ball is coming to Chavez Ravine. The Los Angeles Dodgers announced Monday that the Savannah Bananas will play at UNIQLO Field at Dodger Stadium for the first time on Friday, April 23, and Saturday, April 24, 2027, facing the Firefighters as part of the 2027 Banana Ball World Tour.
The two-night stop lands while the Dodgers are away in Washington facing the Nationals, opening the ballpark for two nights of trick plays, dancing, comedy and the faster version of baseball that has turned the Bananas into a touring phenomenon. Game times and additional event information have not yet been announced.
Banana Ball plays by its own rules: a two-hour time limit, no bunting, batters allowed to steal first base, fans recording an out by catching a foul ball, and points awarded per inning instead of a cumulative run total. Founded in Savannah, Georgia, in 2016 by Jesse Cole, the Bananas shifted exclusively to professional Banana Ball in 2022, and the 2027 tour is scheduled to visit 79 stadiums in 74 cities, including 23 Major League ballparks.
Tickets will not go on traditional sale. Fans must join the 2027 Banana Ball Ticket Lottery List at bananaball.com/tickets and select Los Angeles as their city of interest before the registration window closes Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 8:59 p.m. PT. Joining the lottery does not guarantee tickets or even the chance to buy them: a random drawing will decide who gets access, and the Dodgers emphasized that registering earlier does not improve the odds.
The Dodger Stadium dates are part of a California swing that also takes the Bananas to Petco Park in San Diego on April 3-4, Angel Stadium in Anaheim on July 2-3, and Oracle Park in San Francisco on July 30-31. “The Savannah Bananas have built an incredible connection with fans by turning every game into a one-of-a-kind experience,” Dodgers 365 executive director Chris Koenig said. “We are excited to bring the combination of baseball and entertainment to Los Angeles.”
