South Bay Lakers Set a Franchise-Record with their 11th win in a row!

South Bay Lakers displayed an electric performance against the Iowa Wolves on March 13th, 2026, marking this as their 29th game of the regular season. For their 13th home game the South Bay Lakers fans were blazing with excitement as they got their weekend started with the second face off between the Lakers and the Iowa Wolves. 

In the last game in which the Iowa Wolves and the South Bay Lakers faced each other, the South Bay Lakers took the win, defeating the Iowa Wolves 123-116. During the last match on March 11th, Adou Thiero, Drew Timme, Malik William, Dalton Knecht, and Bronny James Jr. were the starters for the South Bay Lakers. 

Today, the South Bay Lakers’ starting five consisted of R.J. Davis, Adou Thiero, Bronny James Jr., Anton Watson, and Malik Williams.

Prior to the game on March 13th, 2026; the South Bay Lakers held a 20-8 Win-to-Loss ratio during the regular season, meanwhile, the Iowa Wolves were at a 16-13 Win-to-Loss ratio. As for stats that the South Bay Lakers and Iowa Wolves have against each other from 2024-25 and 2025-26, the South Bay Lakers lead those stats with 2 wins and 1 loss in which the Wolves won 139-128. One thing is for certain, when the Lakers and the Wolves face each other, it is always a jam packed performance for both the home team and the away team. 

The South Bay Lakers took the win with a roaring crowd all around them. Fans cheered as the South Bay Lakers dominated the board. The Iowa Wolves trailed behind but ultimately left the UCLA Health Training Center with yet another loss of 106-125. 

Dunk after dunk, players were showing their incredible skills and determination to reach a franchise-record breaking of 11 straight wins for the South Bay Lakers. Each player showed up and showed out with plays that made the entire facility shake up with eager anticipation for the end of the 4 periods.
