LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Lakers responded the way contenders do, bouncing back from a tough loss the night before with a strong 110–93 victory over the Toronto Raptors on home court at Crypto.com Arena.
Led by a balanced and aggressive offensive attack, the Lakers took control early and never looked back. Luka Dončić and Deandre Ayton set the tone, each pouring in 25 points to anchor the Lakers on both ends of the floor. Dončić orchestrated the offense with poise, while Ayton dominated inside, finishing through contact and controlling the paint.
Not far behind was LeBron James, who delivered a vintage performance with 24 points, providing leadership, tempo, and timely buckets whenever the Raptors threatened to gain momentum. James’ ability to impact the game in multiple ways proved once again why he remains the heartbeat of this Lakers squad.
The win was especially important for Los Angeles after coming off a disappointing loss to the Portland Trail Blazers the night before. With renewed energy and defensive focus, the Lakers tightened up on the perimeter, limited Toronto’s scoring opportunities, and controlled the pace for most of the night.
