The LA Clippers delivered a statement win over the LA Lakers, pulling away late to secure a 103–88 victory in the latest chapter of the Battle of L.A.
Kawhi Leonard set the tone from start to finish, leading all scorers with 32 points. Leonard was efficient on both ends of the floor, attacking mismatches, knocking down timely shots, and anchoring the Clippers’ defense. James Harden provided steady support with 21 points, controlling the tempo and making key plays as the Clippers built separation in the second half.

The Lakers faced an uphill battle coming into the matchup, shorthanded without Austin Reaves and Deandre Ayton. Matters worsened after halftime when Luka Dončić was ruled out for the remainder of the game due to a left ankle injury, limiting the Lakers’ offensive options and ability to respond.

With their stars leading the way, the Clippers capitalized on the situation, tightening up defensively and executing in the half court to close the door. The win adds momentum as the Clippers continue to assert themselves in the Western Conference race.
