The game started off beautifully in the city of Inglewood, CA at the Intuit Dome, home of the Los Angeles Clippers. The Wall was buzzing with excitement and it was indeed rumbling as the whole stadium felt the enthusiasm that was radiating from these fans who have been through the entire season with the Los Angeles Clippers.
The game had a rough start for the Clippers as Oklahoma City Thunder held a lead of 10+ points through the first quarter. The Wall cheered in hopes that their voices were enough to intimidate OKC. With 2:41 left on the clock, the LA Clippers were reaching closer to the leading score of the Thunder (21-29). Kawhi Leonard (#2) was on fire as per usual, hitting 3s that were vital to the Clippers’ score.
By the start of the 2nd quarter, the young stars were blazing for the Clippers as Kobe Sanders and Jordan Miller contributed to the score. Despite the Clippers determination to take the lead, the defense was struggling to keep OKC away from adding on to their exceptional lead. OKC’s Chet Holmgren (#7) was setting an exceptional performance tonight and left the crowd stunned at his dunk in front of the Clippers dedicated fan section, “The Wall”.
OKC Thunder was up by the start of the 3rd quarter so it was up to the Los Angeles Clippers to find their way to the top. OKC was not giving up the lead as they fought to keep their advantage, Chet Holmgren (#7) leading in points for the OKC Thunder with 28 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 assists. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (#2) was on fire for OKC as well with 17 points, 1 rebound, and 10 assists. All contributing to their 16 point lead against the Clippers, away from home.
The Clippers also lit up the Intuit Dome with 3 pointer after 3 pointer from Derrick Jones Jr. (#5), Brook Lopez (#11), and Kawhi Leonard (#2). Brook Lopez presented a total of 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists, while Kawhi Leonard has 20 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists to help push the LA Clippers closer to OKC Thunder in the 3rd quarter.
OKC’s Chet Holmgren(#7) was having an exceptional game at the 4th quarter marking 28 points with 10 minutes still remaining on the clock. OKC’s bench remained on their feet as they cheered for the 5 on the court.
To end the night, the OKC Thunder dominated at the Intuit Dome, home of the Los Angeles Clippers as they headed towards the play-in. Fans left disappointed after the on and off performances that the Clippers were putting on in their home court. On the other hand, OKC Thunder fans were striking smiles as they walked out along unhappy Clipper fans. The Oklahoma City City Thunder defeated the Clippers on April 9, 2026 by 18 points (128-110).
