The LA Galaxy wrapped up their 2025 MLS regular season with a 2–1 win over Minnesota United FC at Dignity Health Sports Park, closing the year with confidence and energy.
⚽️ Paintsil and Naciscimento Deliver the Goals
It was a lively night in Carson as Joseph Paintsil struck first with a sharp finish off a Riqui Puig assist, putting the Galaxy ahead early. Minnesota found an equalizer before halftime, but Mateus Nascimento restored the lead in the second half, curling a composed shot into the far corner to make it 2–1.
🔵⚪ Reflecting on the Galaxy’s Season
Despite missing out on a deeper playoff run, the Galaxy showed significant progress throughout the year. Paintsil and Puig continued to shine, while new faces like Nascimento brought energy and promise for the future. With the offseason ahead, Head Coach Greg Vanney and his staff are expected to build on this foundation and aim for a stronger 2026 campaign.
Upcoming Matach VSC Club America
Before the year ends, Galaxy fans can look forward to one last marquee matchup — LA Galaxy vs. Club América on November 15 at Dignity Health Sports Park. The international friendly will be a special showcase between MLS and Liga MX powers, giving fans a taste of continental competition before the new season kicks off.
