FIFA has announced a landmark agreement with social media platform TikTok, naming it the preferred official digital content platform for the FIFA World Cup 2026™, set to take place from June 11 to July 19 across the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
TikTok will feature official videos

Under the agreement, TikTok is expected to become a key destination for millions of fans and content creators throughout the tournament. The platform will not only host official clips and exclusive content, but will also offer select live streams from the tournament’s 104 matches through a dedicated in-app hub.

Broadcast rights holders will also be able to share live highlights, create customized video content, and take advantage of premium advertising formats to monetize their coverage on TikTok during the World Cup.
The partnership, which runs through the end of 2026, includes the launch of a creator program that will grant selected creators access to exclusive material—such as press conferences, training sessions, and behind-the-scenes footage—allowing them to collaborate on official content production for the platform.
As part of the fan experience, TikTok will introduce interactive features including stickers, branded filters, and gamified elements designed to bring fans of all ages closer to the excitement of the World Cup.
According to FIFA representatives, the collaboration with TikTok represents a significant step in the organization’s digital strategy, aimed at expanding its reach to new and younger audiences and reshaping how fans engage with the world’s biggest football event.
