The Los Angeles Clippers’ struggles continued Monday night as they fell 121–103 to the Memphis Grizzlies, extending their losing streak to four games.
Memphis set the tone early and never looked back, using balanced scoring and hot perimeter shooting to control the game from start to finish. Jaren Jackson Jr. led all scorers with 31 points, showcasing his versatility on both ends of the floor and causing matchup problems for the Clippers throughout the night.
Cam Spencer delivered a breakout performance for the Grizzlies, catching fire from beyond the arc. Spencer poured in 27 points while shooting an impressive 7-for-10 from three-point range, repeatedly punishing the Clippers’ defensive rotations and helping Memphis stretch the lead.
The Clippers struggled to find consistent offensive rhythm and were unable to slow down Memphis’ momentum. Kawhi Leonard led Los Angeles with 21 points, but his efforts were not enough to spark a comeback as the deficit continued to grow in the second half.
Despite brief runs by the Clippers, defensive lapses and missed opportunities proved costly, allowing the Grizzlies to maintain control and close out the game comfortably.
With the loss, Los Angeles now faces growing urgency as they look to regroup and snap the skid in their upcoming games. Adjustments on both ends of the floor will be critical if the Clippers hope to regain momentum as the season continues.
