However, foul trouble slowed his impact—Kelly picked up three fouls before halftime, forcing Rip City to adjust defensively.
Offensively, Kobe Bufkin kept the Lakers afloat with steady scoring throughout all four quarters. Still, South Bay struggled at times with over-passing, leading to costly turnovers that allowed Rip City to stay within striking distance.

With only two seconds remaining, RJ Davis—having already delivered a strong game—was fouled while South Bay clung to a 112–111 lead. The gym fell silent as Davis missed the first free throw, but he calmly knocked down the second, extending the Lakers’ lead to 113–111. Rip City’s last-second heave fell short, sealing the South Bay victory.
Drew Timme dominated with 27 points and 6 rebounds, while RJ Davis added 22 points and 7 rebounds, including the game-saving free throw. The packed house roared as the Lakers walked off the court with a gritty, hard-earned win over an equally determined Rip City squad.
