PASADENA, Calif. — No. 9 UCLA is 7-0 for the first time since 2005. The Bruins beat Michigan State 28-10 at the Rose Bowl on Saturday, October 24, shaking off a scoreless first quarter and a 7-0 deficit to take control of a Big Ten game they never trailed again after halftime.

Michigan State struck first, with true freshman quarterback Kayd Coffman — making his first career start — hitting Kenneth Williams for a 14-yard touchdown with 5:26 left in the first quarter.
